Pre-Kindergarten For Children Ages 3 and 4
The Highlands School recognizes that each child is a gift from God. As such, we strive to instill virtues, academics and character formation in a developmentally appropriate way to provide a strong foundation for Christian leadership skills to grow. Our Pre-Kindergarten program has high academic standards but is flexible to meet the needs of each child at his/her developmental stage. We also incorporate Montessori materials that have been proven to develop intrinsic learning and fine motor skills.
Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum
With Catholic Formation at the center, children begin their academic experience at The Highlands School in a supportive, nurturing environment. Academic subjects include language arts, math, science and social studies, and students have integrated use of an iPad and interactive whiteboards.
