How many students attend The Highlands School?

We currently have 400 students enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Do you offer scholarships?

The Highlands School recognizes that a private education is a significant investment for families, and we are committed to making our school affordable to as many qualified students as possible. We offer a need-based financial aid program, a multi-student family discount and have several scholarships available.

Financial aid is not available for pre-kindergarten or international students.

How often do students attend Mass?

Students attend Mass once a week in the chapel. On Holy Days or special Feast Days, all-school Masses are held in the Field House.

What is Integral Formation?

Integral Formation is the educational philosophy we use at The Highlands School to develop excellence in the complete formation of the whole person: human, intellectual, spiritual and apostolic.

What days of the week do you offer preschool?

Our preschool program is five days a week. We do not offer a half-day or partial week option.

What are your school hours?

The Highlands School is open from 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Academic Hours:

Lower School (PreK-5th)  7:55am - 3:00pm.

Middle School (6th-8th)     7:55am - 3:20pm.

High School (9th-12th)        8:30am - 3:30pm.

We offer aftercare until 6:00pm for an additional fee.

What sports do you offer?

High school athletics include Varsity Football and Varsity Cheer, JV and Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Men’s Basketball, Varsity Women’s Basketball, Varsity Tennis, Varsity Men’s Soccer, Varsity Women’s Soccer and Track and Field.

Middle school athletics include Volleyball, Flag Football, Boys Basketball and Girls Basketball.

Our lower school sports are parent-led, so if you’re interested in coaching or introducing a new sport, please inquire!

What clubs or other extracurricular activities do you offer?

The Highlands School offers many opportunities to explore interests outside the classroom. In lower school, students can participate in Chess Club, Robotics/Coding or Beginner Band. These clubs meet once a week after school.

Our middle school students enjoy parent-led clubs that meet once a week during school hours and vary depending on availability and interest.

Our high school students organize and lead their own clubs with faculty approval and oversight. Meetings are held once a week during school hours.

What is Regnum Christi?

Regnum Christi is an apostolic movement within the Catholic Church. Comprised of Legionary priests, seminarians, consecrated men and women and lay people throughout the world, its mission is to promote the integral formation of apostles, inspiring them to fully live their vocation as Christian leaders within their social environment.
